April 2024
While being drafted into the NBA is a dream come true for players all around the world every season, the opportunity to be in that situation requires hard work and a modern skillset. As a player goes from high school to college, and ultimately to the NBA, the level of competition and style of play changes dramatically.
As such, there’s a certain archetype of prospect that can be identified early on as someone who has a real chance to make it to the league. When looking at the current class of high school players who are set to become college freshmen in the 2024-25 season, the level of talent is remarkable.
As these players embark on their final few months of high school play, Integrity Sports Agency will be evaluating some of the best guards, wings and bigs across the country. Along the way, we will be highlighting some of the players who have that modern skillset to make it to the NBA.
Let’s recognize some of the most impressive high school guards in the Class of 2024.
Austin Swartz
6’5” | 180 lbs – Cannon High School | University of Miami Signee

When it comes to getting a bucket, Swartz is one of the premier players in his class. Not only can he spot up and torch teams from beyond the arc, but his ability to score off the bounce and create for himself while knocking down tough shots is special.
An improving defender, Swartz has the tools to one day be a phenomenal two-way talent. At 6-foot-5 with a strong build, he should be ready to make an impact at the college level from day one as a freshman. He’s at his best with the ball in his hands and a green light to score in volume, which makes him a must-watch player.
A charismatic individual who lights up every room, Swartz is considered a great teammate but an even better person by those who have spent time with him.
Rakease Passmoore
6’5” | 185 lbs – Combine Academy | University of Kansas Signee

A phenomenal athlete who is extremely effective in transition, Passmore is a walking highlight reel. He possesses the strength to play much bigger than his height at 6-foot-5, which allows him to play as a more traditional wing along his standard guard position.
Passmore had the chance to gain valuable experience playing in the Overtime Elite league as part of the Blue Checks last season, proving his skillset translates to various styles of play. From a physical standpoint, the incoming Kansas freshman should have no problem being a one-and-done player with the strength and size to play in the NBA in roughly 18 months. With the way the modern game is played, he is the ultimate prospect.
Passmore has been described to ISA as a late-bloomer who is one of the hardest workers in every gym he’s in, and has finally seen that pay dividends.
Annor Boateng
6’5” | 205 lbs – Little Rock Central High School | University of Missouri Signee

As Boateng has continued to grow, he is now the size of an NBA wing but with a guard skillset. He’s a good athlete with a projectable frame, but what makes him special is his elite motor. This makes Boateng extremely impactful on both ends as the type of player who does the little things well.
The upside with Boateng is off the charts, as he’s just now scratching the surface of his potential. At Missouri next season, he will look to continue developing his skillset and overall offensive package, which will round out his game. Boateng is a very smart player who learns quickly, so don’t be surprised if he improves rapidly at the college level.
From everyone we’ve talked to, Boateng is the type of kid who takes care of business in the classroom and truly cares about his friends, family and community.
